The materials used are crucial to the quality and lifespan of your new shoes. We source all our materials ourselves, which allows us to guarantee their quality. We select only the highest quality and most durable materials for our collections. Every supplier signs a material specification and traceability contract, containing information about the origin of the material, size and thickness of the material, and whether the material is recycled or whether it can be recycled. Transparent, controlled, and fashion-worthy.

VIA VAI is known for it's great fit, which is extra important in loafers and other slip on shoes. That's why almost all our loafers are available in half sizes. Models that are not available in half sizes incorporate other methods to ensure that perfect fit, such as laces, buckles or elastic heel pieces.
Most of our loafers, mocassins and slingbacks are lined with leather to guarantee a luxurious, perfect fit.
Leather is one of the strongest natural materials and therefore the most resistant to wear and tear. Leather offers stability, strength, and conforms to your feet over time. Another advantage of leather is that it naturally absorbs and expels moisture.
Our sporty sneaker-loafers, also called snoafers, are lined with mesh.
A major advantage of mesh is its breathability. Its open-weave structure allows air to flow freely, keeping your feet cool. Mesh feels comfortable immediately and stays that way. It's a soft and flexible material that moves easily with your feet. Lastly, mesh is a lightweight material, which means it contributes to the overall lightness of the shoe.

Our loafers and slingbacks feature a leather outsole with a nubuck finish. The sole leather is lightly sanded for a velvety soft, matte touch and fine micro-texture. All these soles feature a transparent plastic protective layer to prevent damage during fitting.
You pull it, you like it: only remove the film when you are certain this is your perfect pair. Returns will not be accepted when this film is removed.

With the right care, you can extend the lifespan of your favorite shoes. Start with brushing away dry dirt. Condition leather and suede with the appropriate cream or our VIA VAI premium repellent Spray. Protect suede beforehand for a long-lasting, velvety-soft look. Clean mesh with the VIA VAI Cleaning Solution and let air dry (avoid heat sources).
