- We’ve set up healthy workspaces with adjustable office chairs, sit-stand desks, and desk bikes. This way, we encourage each other to stand at our desks a few times a day or even compete in desk bike challenges.

- A healthy work-life balance is essential. We offer the possibility to work from home, and daily working hours can be arranged flexibly where possible.

Planet
Sustainability in Every Step. In our operations, we carefully assess the conditions under which our products are made, the materials used, the amount of waste generated, and the sustainability of our facilities.
- Our consumer shipping boxes are made from 100% recycled paper. We also use a variety of packaging sizes for our webshop to minimize cardboard use. Custom-sized boxes are more space-efficient during transport, which helps reduce CO₂ emissions from shipping.
- Your VIA VAI order is shipped climate-neutral via DHL. DHL minimizes CO₂ emissions by using electric delivery vans. Any remaining emissions are offset through investments in nature restoration. As of 2023, all consumer shipments are not only climate-neutral but also fossil-free.
- Our HQ is equipped with 142 solar panels, making us fully energy self-sufficient. We also use LED lighting and provide electric charging stations for our fully electric vehicle fleet.
Prosperity
We look beyond our businesses. We proudly support a range of social initiatives. VIA VAI maintains long-term partnerships with Nova Zembla, Les Cajoutiers Senegal, and Villa Pardoes. Our support goes beyond material or financial donations — we also actively participate in volunteer activities.
- Nova Zembla is a foundation with a mission to support underprivileged people in Bulgaria by providing clothing and shoes. A significant portion of the Bulgarian population lives below the poverty line. We donate selected surplus stock and quality-rejected products that are still fully functional to this foundation.
- Les Cajoutiers Senegal is a foundation that offers children from disadvantaged families in Senegal — including those who are deaf or have Down syndrome — a chance at a better future through education, nutrition, and care. We support this cause by donating specific leftover stock.
- Villa Pardoes provides truly unforgettable, cost-free holidays for families with seriously or potentially life-threatening ill children between the ages of 4 and 12. It gives these families — including siblings, parents, and grandparents — the opportunity to enjoy a carefree week together and take a break from the weight of illness.
Each year, we donate financially to Villa Pardoes, and multiple times a year, our entire team volunteers to help make a difference.
