In 1992, Ruud Pessers decided to follow his instincts. With a bold spirit and a passion for craftsmanship, VIA VAI was born – Italian for “go your own way.”
Ruud embarked on this adventure together with his wife Mirella and their three daughters. Today, VIA VAI has grown into an internationally renowned footwear brand, run alongside the next generation.
The warmth and personal touch of a family can be felt in everything we do – from the very first sketch to the moment you slip on our shoes.
